Novowood sostiene il Premio Estense
Once again this year, Novowood had the honour of being among the supporters of the Premio Estense, the prestigious journalism event now in its 61st edition. This occasion renews our commitment not only to innovation and sustainability in the materials sector, but also to the promotion of quality journalism and critical reflection on the most pressing issues of our time. The Premio Estense, known for rewarding the best investigations and reports that explore the complexities of the contemporary world, has confirmed itself as a bastion of “civil responsibility” and a “ray of light in these dark times”, as emphasised by Confindustria Emilia.
This year's edition saw Marzio Mian triumph with his “Volga Blues”, a work that took a lucid look at a complex and changing Russia. There were also contributions from big names such as Corrado Augias, winner of the Granzotto award, who stimulated deep reflection on the unity of our country and global turmoil, and Paolo Rumiz, with his traveller's perspective on the anxieties of Europe. Crucial issues such as the conflict in the Middle East were also discussed, thanks to Gad Lerner, as were the challenges facing our healthcare system, through the investigation ‘Codice Rosso’ by Milena Gabanelli and Simona Ravizza.
For Novowood, supporting the Premio Estense means supporting an initiative that, through the power of words and investigation, contributes to forming a more attentive and informed civic conscience. It is an alliance between material innovation and the power of ideas, combining a commitment to a sustainably built environment with the need for critical thinking for a conscious future.
