In the Monte Salario district, within famous Great Ring Road – GRA, between Via Salaria and the A1 motorway, “Studio Transit” has designed a residential intervention on an area of over 43,700 square meters in a strategic and, at the same time, impressive position.
The project aims to recreate the complexity of the urban landscape into a unitary organism, inspired by the Roman tradition of the early 1900s, trying to recreate the compositional articulation and the quality of the spaces of the interventions carried out in those years, such as “Città Giardino”, “Garbatella” , “Piazza Tuscolo” projects.
The strength of the intervention is the characterization of the apartments and the arrangement of the facades, which develop on different levels and with heterogeneous materials. Among them : Novowood, which is employed with its “Infinity 90” louvers profiles and with “Skin Prestige 197” cladding staves.
The louvers has been installed thanks to the exclusive “Surface System” that allows to create invisible fixings, thanks to a specifically designed aluminum substructure system and special connectors. The versatility of the “Surface System” enabled to use the Infinity profiles on the elevations of building M and in the terraces’ shielding panels of building N.
The “Skin Prestige 197” profiles, in Wood color, clad the parapets of the balconies on the façade, giving the material effect and warmth of the wood in a contemporary intervention.
Another confirmation that makes Novowood an ideal solution for big projects where effective solutions with a strong visual impact are required.
